Mental Health
for adults
We offer a suite of Mental Health programs for adults aged 18 years and over.
GPs can simply refer to FocusOne Health via the Country SA Medicare Mental Health Intake, Assessment and Referral Service via fax 08 9467 6233, HealthLink EDI (sahthiar) or alternatively through a warm referral via their dedicated phoneline 1800 595 212.
Alternatively, clients can self-refer via the FocusOne Health referral form, or by contacting our head office on 08 8582 3823.

Up to 8 sessions of goal-focused cognitive behavioural therapy to help adults experiencing challenges to everyday life such as anxiety, mood changes, grief and loss.

Therapeutic short-term (up to 12 sessions) counselling for people who have been diagnosed with mild to moderate mental health problems such as anxiety or depression.

Mental health care and coordination supporting people suffering severe and complex mental illness.

Coordinated care services that enhance the physical and mental health of people suffering complex and severe mental illness.

Short term counselling for people living in Residential Aged Care Facilities who have been diagnosed, or who could be at risk of, mild to moderate mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression.
Mount Gambier Medicare Mental Health Centre
No formal referral or appointment is needed, adults aged 18 and over are encouraged to walk in and access this service.
If GPs wish to refer clients to Mount Gambier Medicare Mental Health Centre, they can do so directly via e-mail or fax.
Alternatively, clients can contact the Medicare Mental Health national phone service on 1800 595 212 for advice, assessment and referral.
Referral & Triage:
After we receive a referral, FocusOne Health will contact the client to confirm the referral and discuss timeframes for the first appointment with FocusOne Health.
