FocusOne Health is the lead agency for Mount Gambier Medicare Mental Health Centre (formerly Head to Health).
The Mount Gambier Medicare Mental Health Centre is a safe and welcoming space for people aged over 18 years experiencing distress (including family and carers), to talk to someone and connect with the right mental health supports. Qualified mental health professionals and mental health lived experience Peer Workers work together to offer the support people need. The centre is open Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm.
Referral & Triage:
No formal referral or appointment is required, people are encouraged to just walk-in.
Alternatively, the Medicare Mental Health phone service can be contacted on 1800 595 212 for advice, assessment and referral. The Mount Gambier Medicare Mental Health Centre is not an emergency service.
