We are seeking a Psychological Therapies Clinician with demonstrated experience working with clients with mild, moderate or sometimes severe mental illness. The successful candidate will have experience with mental health assessments and therapeutic services, including psycho-education and focused psychological interventions / strategies.

As a Psychological Therapies Clinician, you will play a key role in assisting individuals with mental health needs to increase their capacity to manage their mental health, avoid relapse through early intervention or the onset of acute symptoms.

The services provided through the Psychological Therapies Program are a level of intervention within a stepped care approach and must be evidenced based for the population being targeted (e.g. cognitive behavioural therapy).

The Psychological Therapies Clinician will where appropriate, collaborate, consult and liaise with primary healthcare providers, acute health, emergency services, rehabilitation and support services, family, friends, and carers and/or other agencies to support optimal client outcomes.

Candidates with relevant qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing and Registered Psychologists are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will be remunerated in accordance with FocusOne Health’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications.
